According to Sky News (and the Star) Gareth is to turn his hand to becoming a rock singer on the lines of Maroon 5. Basically he will have a band at all his performances. But he'll still have ballads and stuff, just with more edge. (Thanks to

Just a little appareance last week:
Gareth went to a libary in Bradford last weekend to do a talk about what he has been up to lately, and about the Mcguire Programme. Some of the fans went and were suprised to see him there with the Mcguire Programme team. He told everyone there that he was happy with everything in his life at the moment.
We hope to see more Gareth in the next week...

Hey! Welcome to the new version of Gareth Source, your leading site for anything and everything Gareth! The full site is not back up with this new summer layout (which I personally love!). As you might have noticed when I uploaded the temp layout some weeks ago the gallery is finally up (not 100% done, but I'm adding more photos almost every week). I had to take down the fanlisting while I finish installing and setting up a PHP script to make it easier for you to join and for me to add members. I will change the section as soon as I can 'cos some still have the settings of the old layout.
Feel free to let me know what you think about this new layout using the "comments" near the title of THIS post. Thanks.

Don't believe the rumours about Gareth next album being a Greatest Hits, they're not true! Gareth is curently working on an album with new tracks and according to some rumours the enw single will be out at the end of the summer.
All the rumours about the "Greatest Hits" came from
this topic at DenDen forums. If you read the text you will discover that: "my very own 'GARETH GATES - THE GREATEST HITS' collection" so the tracklist and all the stuff was just and idea of DenDen member.

POOR old GARETH GATES. First he’s binned by his record label and now his girlfriend is all over boyband PHIXX in their new video. Gaz’s girl — dancer SUZANNE MOLE — is seen wearing a hairdo and not much else during the promo for their new single Wild Boys. But the Pop Idol runner-up can’t complain. The singer, who recently passed exams in speech therapy, has openly admitted he is a womaniser. He said: “It’s cool — girls chase me. That’s a good thing about my job.” No wonder Suzanne’s doing some dirty dancing. The make-your-man-jealous technique is always a winner.
She and Gareth have been dating since December 2002.

A heart warming story has reached TOTP's ears about lovely young Gareth Gates. It seems after two and a half years of study, the once hedgehog-haired star has finally qualified to become a speech therapy coach.
Chuffed lil' Gazza said: "I am really chuffed I am able to teach, as it helped me so much."
However, it seems the Gates-meister will have to put a temporary halt on any plans he had to take up a teaching career. Yup, it seems Gaz fans are already plotting to pretend to have a stutter just so the chance to meet their idol.
The Director of Teaching said: "Unfortunately I think he will have to wait until his career dies down a bit before he takes classes on his own."
Which, if the tabloids are to be believed, could mean he's teaching by the end of this year!

Gareth will be on London Tonight soon.
Yesterday night (12 May 2004) he was at Capital Radio's Help A London child Charity dinner in Dover Street Restaurant where he performed some acoustic songs.
Photos of the evenyt are coming very soon (as soon as I finish the gallery, should be sometime next week).
