I have a few announcements to make, before we get to the updates. First of all, after weeding through my inbox, I have decided to make a new policy: from now on, I will only be accepting high-quality submissions as far as fanart, wallpaper, fanfiction, and icons go. I'm doing this because I'm striving to make this the best J/K site on the web, and I really only want to display quality work on the site. This isn't to discourage submissions in the least, and I'm not saying you have to be a Photoshop wizard or the best writer in the world to submit. I'm just asking for a good grasp on Photoshop/Paintshop Pro/insert graphics program here, as well as be able to write with basic grammar/spelling skills. I suggest having fics beta-ed to get them free of errors before sending them in, because I just don't have time to fix everything for you. If English isn't your first language, feel free to submit a fic in anothe rlanguage! A beta is still suggested :) I hope this doesn't offend or hurt anyone; I just want to keep the site of the best quality possible. Thanks guys! Now, onto updates :) - One new piece of fanfiction, "The Beginning of the End", by Cat. Very, very nice piece. Read it! - One new piece of fanart, an incredible manip by Liz! Take a look! - One new wallpaper, also from Liz! Absolutely lovely! - Three new songs added to the soundtrack! - Two new reasons! - Two new affiliates! There is a massive gallery update coming soon; I just didn't have time to do it tonight. Look for that coming up, as well as that new layout!! He was a truly amazing man and I hope you all keep him and his admirers in your prayers. It's been a little while since I updated...I know, I know. *headdesk* Well...Lost is back! That's good news! And updates! Those are good, too! - MASSIVELY HUGE gallery update (examples below), including new photoshoots such as Evangeline for Self Magazine and Tv Guide, Matthew for GQ, episode screencaps for "Deus Ex Machina", and more! 
 - Five new reasons added to the list - Timeline has been updated through the latest episode! - Two new affiliates! Whew! It has been an obnoxiously long time since I updated. *hides* please don't kill me!! I'm so, so sorry guys - school and work are always kicking my butt. Argh. Anyway, here's some updates for you wonderfully patient people: - One new piece of fanfiction, "Second Chance" by the lovely Cassandra Mulder - Three new link buttons replacing the old ones - SEVEN new pieces of fanart! We've got some incredibly lovely artists' work up! - Four new wallpapers to grace your desktop! - One new link - Countless amount of songs added to the soundtrack Ugh, no new Lost for six weeks. How much does that suck? I expect loads of fanfic to help us get through, people! *wink* I'd also like to take a moment and plug an awesome new community to help us all make it through the Lost drought - Breaking the Hiatus. It includes fic challenges, art challenges, whatever helps us through, lol.  I didn't want you all to have to wait til the giant gallery update, so here are brand new TV Guide pics for ya! At Lost Media you can also find pics of Charlie, Sayid, Locke, and the rest of the cast. Also, TV Guide covers featuring Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Dominic Monaghan, and more are on sale now. Still to come are major, gigantic gallery updates - being on dial-up means that will take the longest, but I shall do it!! :) Also, expect the timeline to be updated soon. And a new layout!! What the fudge?! So, yeah.....I am unbelievably sorry to leave you all hanging like that. I got a new computer for Christmas (woot!), so I didn't have an FTP program for awhile, and I wanted desperately to get a new layout and update the site, but I simply had no means of doing it. I really want to thank Gertie for her incredible patience and kindess and giving me time to get everything together!! Now, onto the updates! - NEW LAYOUT! - Two new pieces of fanfiction - Three new pieces of fanart Here's the thing: I wanted to get the new layout up as fast as possible. So, there are tons more updates coming, I promise. Here's what you can look forward to in the next week or so: - A load of new fanfiction - Massive gallery update including episode caps, Evey at the Golden Globes and parties, Evey on Leno, Evey on Ellen, did I mention episode caps? - New affiliates - Revamping of several sections So, we've a long way to go. But thank you ALL for your continued patience!! I'm glad to be back :) Evey was at the Golden Globes on Sunday (though Lost didn't win :( ), The Tonight Show on Monday, and Ellen on Tuesday (today).
