Most of you probably know Jessalyn from the hit drama Boston Public. That's how I came to know her. Lauren was my favorite character, and I thought that Jessalyn did a great job portraying a teacher. She was caring, compassionate and exactly what I thought an educator should be.
When season 2 aired, I was very excited for another season of Boston Public. Unfortunately, Lauren didn't have much screentime in the first episode. I didn't let that bother me, but as the season went by, I continued to watch my favorite character get shoved aside. My patience began to wear thin when she was constantly relegated to background and brief appearances.
I was saddened to learn that Jessalyn would be leaving the show. Of course, I fully understood, and after a season of crappy storylines, I couldn't blame her for getting out.
The season 3 premeire was the last straw for me. Jessalyn's character was not seen nor was she mentioned. This lack of acknowledgement was not only disrespectful to Jessalyn, but also to her fans.
I created this site a few days after the premeire because I felt that Jessalyn was unappreciated. Even though she probably will never see this site, I want her to know that she is very much appreciated by her fans. We wish her the best in her future.
