When she was going in for new head shots, someone noticed her unique beauty and added a little bit more makeup and her modeling career was off.

Born in December of 1975 in Kiev, Ukraine Milla was born into a family as an only child, and to a mother who was also an actress with a couple of movies to her name. At age eleven Milla began her acting career. But things did not go as she planned. People began to notice her unique features and she soon was modeling for hundreds of shoots. She soon became the youngest cover model in the world, and was named one of “Revlon’s Most Unforgettable Women in the World” before her 12th birthday. Earning $3,500 a day, she appeared on thirteen magazine covers as a young teenager. “I don’t even bother to count my covers,” said a 13-year-old Milla Jovovich. “When it comes to models my age, I think I’m it.” (Milla news) “I did my first shoot when I was eleven, acting like a sexy 20-year-old woman. Everything went to my head.” (Milla News) By this time she had been on more than 100 magazine covers and was an "international spokes person" for the L’Oreal company.(IMDB)

Within three years Milla appeared in her first movie, Return to the Blue Lagoon at age fifteen. She already had over a million dollars to her name, but despite all that was given to her at that age she still refers to her self as a "brat" because of how young she was when she started out in the industry. "Her mom remembers her bleaching out her eyebrows just to get to her, and eloping to her co-star of the movie Dazed and Confused at age sixteen, Shawn Andrews, her ex-husband was 21" (MillaJ.com). Her mother soon after had the marriage annulled. In 1992 Milla had small parts in several movies. At age eighteen Milla put out her first album, The Divine Comedy. She had previous written all the songs when she was only sixteen. She was fulfilling her dreams of being and actress and a musician, and added on to that she also was a world renowned model. She soon started up a small band called Plastic Has Memory. The band did not last for very long; she soon went her own way. She now tours every so often, in various clubs in New York and Los Angeles, and has played for the king of England at the Annual event called "Fashion Rocks" (milla-jovovich.biz).
