A brief Summary.........

Garbage was the brain child of producers Butch Vig, Duke Erikson, and Steve Marker. Originally it was an informal jam sessions between the three of them. Then later on, they decided to search for a lead singer. During auditions, they were stunned & amazed by the talent of the young Shirley Manson whom had previously sang with Angelfish & goodbye Mr. Mackenzie. They knew straight from the get go that she was the one they were looking for, no doubt about it.

Garbage went on to release their self titled debut album in 95. The album was an instant success & garbage became well known for such songs as Only Happy When It Rains & Stupid Girl .They would later follow up with two more albums, garbage version 2 as well as Beautiful Garbage. Both of which were a major success.

What makes Garbage different from other groups, is their combination of different melodies, and variations of different types of music, all combined into one C.D.
