Things with Jack and Maria's divorce are getting nastier as Maria's attorney forces Jack to relive not only his childhood traumas, but also throw his affair with Sam in his face and attack his dedication to his job.

Jack endures a brutal deposition by his wife's divorce attorney as part of their custody battle during which he's forced to address his previous extra-marital affair with Samantha.

Jack gets more than he bargained for when, during the lengthy deposition at which his wife Maria shows up unannounced, her cutthroat attorney uses Jack's childhood traumas, his past affair with Samantha and his dedication to his job against him. Meanwhile, a noticeably distracted Samantha ponders whether she's responsible for Jack's current personal woes.
